Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Billie Farley of Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Matewan, West Virginia. Survivors include her brother, Ron and wife Kathy Lynn Farley and sister, Judy and her husband David Saylor, nine nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews, dear friend, Evelyn Parker, as well as many close sisters and brothers in the deaf community.
Kathy was a 1971 graduate of Meadowdale H.S. and an Alumni of Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. Kathy was recently employed by Community Services for the Deaf, prior to that she taught many years at Sinclair Community College in the ASL program. Kathy was a great advocate for the deaf and therefore served on many committees and boards such as D.A.D., Founder of D.C.R.C., Founder of D.A.C., O.A.C., Ohio Baptist Conference Of the Deaf and Miami Valley Baptist Church for the Deaf and Hearing. |
